Willow Baskets/Garden Structures

We offer a selection of willow workshops run by ourselves, visiting basket makers and woodland craftsmen.

Baskets and Trays

Using soaked natural coloured willow make flat bottomed baskets with sides, rolled tops and handles if required. Frame baskets are made on hazel hoops, have curved bases and require willow and rush weaving. Trays are made from willow wreaths with a framework of cut willow woven in between.

Garden Structures

These can include hazel and willow wigwams, curved herbaceous willow plant supports and curved path edgings.

Sculptures

Using stripped buff willow make circular frames that can be linked together to make chickens, ducks, cranes, flamingos, pigs, rabbits, butterflies, dragonflies etc. even fairies!

Christmas Willow

Come and have fun making willow decorations such as Christmas trees, wreaths and stars.

Living Willow

In the autumn and spring come and make a living willow chair to plant in your garden. Daydream the summer away watching your chair come to life.
