March Courses
4th, Sunday – Broomstick Lace
This technique is created using a crochet hook and a large knitting needle. The broomstick lace is a vintage crochet stitch that creates a nice lacey effect. It is also known as the peacock stitch, the Peruvian stitch and jiffy lace.
7th, Wednesday – Mohair Bouclé
An advanced spinning workshop to create your own looped bouclé yarns. These yarns are at their best using our hand dyed mohair fibre to give defined, lustrous loops. Also learn the technique of core spinning using alpaca fibres and mohair.
10th, Saturday – Spring Bunnies
Natalie will truly inspire you with her adorable wool felt and floral cotton Easter bunnies, bears and spring birds. These small figures have moveable limbs, are hand stitched with our variegated threads, and gently stuffed with our sheeps wool. You will now have a month to make lots more ready for Easter.
14th, Wednesday – Woollen Art Baskets
Using beautiful colourful thick textured yarns and wools, create two free form baskets by weaving and crochet. Decorate with pre-felt flowers, needle felted onto your bowl and richly embellished with beads.

The premier event for all the U.K. Alpaca industry. A new feature this year is a Fibre Arts Village for hand spinners, weavers, knitters, crochet and felt makers. See us there with our supplies. N.E.C. Birmingham.
