5th Tuesday – Summer Lanterns
Beautiful glass lanterns covered in silks with an Indian inspiration of threads, mirrors, beads, wires and sequins. Ideal for summer barbecues, parties or even weddings, to use as candleholders or sweet containers.

10th Sunday – Scented Treasures with Summer Flowers
A pampering day to make yourself soaps and bath bombs with floral essential oils. Make milk and lavender sachets to float in your bath or hang under the shower. Finally produce a selection of handmade papers from recycled paper pulp and flower petals. Use these papers to wrap your soaps or use as small gift bags.

13th Wednesday – Floral Felt
Learn how to use our Gaywool Dyes onto white merino prefelt fabric, which can be fixed in a steamer or microwave. Using your prefelts cut into flowers, leaves and petals, decorate merino wool, laid over plastic resists. You will create large flowers shaped bowls and vases.

16th Saturday – Inkle Loom Weaving
Ever wanted to learn to weave then come and explore weaving on a Inkle loom. This is an open sided simple loom for making braids, belts and bands. Tracey will take you through the process of making string heddles and putting on the warp. Explore weaving with different yarns to create a variety of patterns.

17th Sunday – Over the Edge and Beyond
Jackie returns with an unusual knitting workshop concentrating on fancy edges and turning corners. For each attendee Jackie has prepared your own goodie box containing wool and pre-knitted squares ready for you to learn how to knit a wide range of different edges and finishes.

19th Tuesday – Herdy Spinning
Our complementary spinning afternoon using our freshly shorn Herdwick wool. Please book as places are limited.

23rd Saturday & 24th Sunday – Fibre-East

We will be there with our supplies.

30th Saturday – Bakewell Farmers Market
Find us at the market with our supplies and crafts whilst stocking up on all that delicious local food.

31st Sunday – Beginners Knitting
This would be an ideal course for older children, teenagers or adults to learn to knit. Ann has the patience of a saint to teach folk of all levels. Your will cover cast on, several stitches, turning, joining and casting off. All needles and wool provided.
