January Courses
18th, Wednesday – Into the Woods
Come and have fun making a needle felted scene from our farm reared hand dyed wools. A woodland floor is covered in leaves and acorns. We’ll even make some toadstools and a doormouse all out of wool.
21st, Saturday – Beginners Tunisian Crochet
Ann will show us this needlework technique that borrows elements from crochet and knitting. With Tunisian crochet each row is a two-step process and you never have a need to turn the work. There are lots of alternative names from Afghan crochet or stitch to Shepherds knitting. Enjoy using our multi dyed yarns.
24th, Tuesday – Go with the Crimp
Our complementary spinning afternoon. Explore spinning a range of different fleeces with a variety of crimp counts. Understand how to read your fleece and spin accordingly. Booking essential. 1.30 to 4.30pm.
28th, Saturday – Bakewell Farmers Market
See us there with our wools for felt, knitting and crochet, plus our warm winter blankets, hats, gloves and scarves.
