4th, Wednesday – Felted Sewing Accessories

Make your own sheets of wet felt incorporating pre felt flowers. Stitch your felt with our variegated cotton threads and create a needle case booklet, a pin cushion and a scissor holder. We’ll even give you the needles, pins and scissors to put in your cases.

7th, Saturday – Jewelled Mini Treasures

You will weave small panels of our exquisite, shimmering yarns and threads using a range of tapestry techniques. Our looms will be made from a cardboard frame which you will have made. These weavings will then be embellished with tassels, embroidery, beads and sequins before fi nishing as brooches or mounted onto a canvas frame.

10th, Tuesday – Floral Cushions

Come and explore different rug techniques to create a cushion cover inspired by flowers such as pansies, sunflowers and daises etc. Petals will be created by prodding and progging, flower centres by hooking and the background filled with locker hooking. These techniques can also be used on floor rugs.

13th, Friday. 14th, Saturday and 15th, Sunday – Quilt Show

A large local show at Uttoxeter Racecourse. There will be exhibitions, demonstrations and sales of textile craft supplies. See us there with a big stand of our goodies.

20th, Friday – Cornwall Guild

I shall be running a felt workshop for spinners and weavers, drawing inspiration from the sea. I will also bring my supplies to sell as well.

24th, Tuesday – Buttoned Up.

Our complementary afternoon, but for a change I’ll show you how to make Leek Deaths Head Buttons. Booking required.

28th, Saturday and 29th, Sunday – Wonderwool Wales

It’s your chance to enjoy a fantastic range of Welsh and British artisan products and an opportunity to meet the wonderful people who made them. There will be exhibitions, workshops, talks, fashion shows and so much more. Builth Wells.
