Welcome to The Threshing Barn

The Threshing Barn is a lovely 17th Century, grade 2 listed farm.  Set in the Staffordshire Moorlands, The Threshing Barn is the perfect venue for numerous craft courses.  We run courses in spinning, weaving, felt-making, paper making and papier mache, dry flower arranging, natural and synthetic dying, knitting and crocheting, rug making and many more.

We run two sorts of courses;

Craft courses run regularly so come and spend a a day learning a new country craft, or join us for a whole week and try your hand at several crafts.

Our craft courses can be tailored to suit all ages and skill levels and children are also welcome.

The Threshing Barn also has a comprehensive craft shop packed full of all you could want for your craft.  Wool, silks, felt, spinning wheels and looms of all shapes and sizes can be bought here.  Some of our stock is listed in this website bit if you’re not sure what you want, then give us a call and we’ll be happy to discuss your needs.
